[ somarium ] tavern

So not too long after arriving into Somarium, Alvin had discovered the tavern. He hadn't planned on actually taking it up, but as a chance to try and start over and turn a new leaf, he's taking charge with the rest of the crew. Though this was planned OOCly from the very beginning, ah ha. I used to play Raven who owned the tavern before, and it was nicknamed the Tales of Tavern. So we're basically following the tradition. Because tavern.

Anyway, at the moment the name has yet to be determined but here is some info and the old diagrams from back in the day.

Well here's my insanity that is the Tavern blueprint. All 3 floors plus a bonus image of how all the floors look like overlaid on top of one of another. NOTE: NOT TO SCALE.

Confusing isn't it? But that's how all three floors would look like once stacked on top of one another. No worries, they are broken down and explained further on!

Yep. That's the cellar in all its glory. It's basically the whole tavern and probably some more. There's a door that leads to the outside from the cellar (how else would large shipments of beer be brought in?).

ground floor layout

This is what the main floor looks like. I, uh, just randomly threw tables and furniture in there. Technically wasn't even going to include furniture but I was like "OH WHY NOT." But that setup can be pretty much fudged. What is for certain is the location of the main bar, and that there are covered areas near the bottom right corner. The grayed areas just mean it's covered by the upstairs corridor. Otherwise, it's a high ceiling so that the floor of the third floor is actually the top of the main hall ceiling. Pretend there are windows.

It should be noted that the cellar has a covered door on top that has to be lift open before anyone can down in it. Above the fireplace is a giant HDTV. Great for watching sports games. ...If they ever actually aired.

second floor layout

This is the primary guest floor. All rooms have their own closets. The bathroom also functions as the laundry room no I didn't forget. As in there is a washer and dryer in there as well as a shower and toilet. The stairs to the third floor are spiral so they go straight up, though they'll need a key or someone to open the door for them (except for the cast members).

There are windows.

third floor layout

This is just mainly filled with extra guestrooms, a giant closet converted into a room, another guest bathroom (also with laundry appliances), and a giant rec room. It's kind of like a VIP area. There's a pole to slide down if so desired. The giant room was used both for general private lounging and storing uses. One could assume VIP guests would come up here, hence why there was a locked door leading up to it.

And yes, there are windows.
